Operations Assistant

Job Title: Operations Assistant/Part-time
Location: STCC Office/Resale Store
Hours: 10-12 hours per week
Reports to: Executive Director
Salary: $18 to $20 per hour depending upon experience and market conditions

Overview: The main role is to assist the executive director with the day to day operations of St. Christopher’s Children. This requires knowledge of STCC programs and to be a brand ambassador in helping build awareness in the community. No day is the same so flexibility is required along with a heart for the mission.

Job Description
RESPONSBILITIES
-Update email lists for Donor Base and Resale store
-Social media posting of events and weekly posts
-Record daily sales from Poynt Sales and donations for Quickbooks
-Correspondence to Donors and volunteers
-Assist with newsletters, constant contact, and bulk mailings
-Answering phones, sending faxes, checking mail, and ordering supplies
-Assist with special projects as needed
-Collect demographic information for programs
-Organize clothing and office supplies
-Assist with events as needed
-Assist at resale store as needed during promotional periods
-Weekly visits to the resale store to assist store manager and fill in when needed
-Pick up deposits at resale store twice per week
-Support clothing, orthodontic, and Resale programs
-Other miscellaneous duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Nonprofit experience
-Retail experience PREFERRED SKILLS
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Computer, software, and office equipment skills with proficiency to learn new software
-Experience in MS Office and data entry
-Understanding of basic accounting
-Ability to deal effectively with staff and volunteers
-Flexibility to work nights and weekends around events
