Tidelands Health marketing and communications leader honored nationally

Amy Stevens, vice president and chief marketing officer at Tidelands Health, has been recognized nationally as one of 78 hospital and health system chief marketing officers to know.

Becker’s Hospital Review, known as a go-to publication for hospital and health care leaders, compiled the list to recognize dynamic and strategic health care marketing executives. Leaders who made the prestigious list position their hospitals and health systems as market leaders and trusted voices in health care.

Stevens, who joined Tidelands Health in 2013, transformed the health system’s marketing capabilities by building an award-winning team. She leads marketing, communications, advocacy, provider relations, community engagement, philanthropy and patient experience for the not-for-profit health system.

She has spearheaded key initiatives including the development of the MyCarolinaLife.com health and wellness content hub, the My Tidelands Health app and a consumer insights panel to elevate patient engagement. In addition, she has driven national recruitment campaigns for physicians and other health care professionals to serve the growing region.

An Emmy-nominated writer and producer, Stevens serves on the board of the American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and is a member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Women’s Council.
